when it rains it FLOODS always

We'll we had some really heavy rain yesterday - received 4"+ in two hours (5:30 - 7:30pm).  On my way home down our curvy road about 6:45pm - I ran into several spots where the road was just a river and found a man in a Firebird halfway underwater.  Our backyard always floods when it rains and since we've had so much rain in the past month - it really flooded, the entire 6th fairway across from our house was under ankle - knee - waist deep water.  Which was fun for the kids in the neighborhood when the sun showed up to set about 8pm.  Unfortunately we are suppose to get some more rain today about the same time...
